Build Games With Us

We're a small independent studio in Erbil shipping games to millions of players. Small team means your work is visible — there is no layer between what you make and what people play.

Four things that are actually true
01

Ship, then improve

We've built games in 48 hours and games over 18 months. Either way we'd rather put something playable in front of people early than polish in private for a year.

02

Small team, real ownership

Nobody here is one of forty people on a feature. You'll own systems end to end and see your name attached to what shipped.

03

Local stories, global players

The Tablet of Destinies is set in the Erbil Citadel and Hatra, in Arabic, Kurdish and English. We think games from here are worth making here.

04

Portfolio over pedigree

We care about what you've built, not where you studied. A weird jam game you finished says more to us than a perfect CV.

Gameplay Programmer (Luau)

Engineering Full-time Erbil, Iraq · Remote friendly

Own gameplay systems end to end on our Roblox titles — movement, multiplayer state, progression, and the moment-to-moment feel players actually remember.

What you'll do
  • Build and maintain gameplay systems across live titles like Rakoon and SCREWED.
  • Write clean, profiled Luau that holds up with 12+ players in a server.
  • Work directly with design and art to prototype fast and cut what isn't fun.
  • Support live updates: bug triage, hotfixes, and post-launch tuning.
What we need
  • Shipped at least one project in Luau or a comparable scripting language.
  • Comfortable with client/server replication and basic performance profiling.
  • You can take a rough design idea and get a playable version running quickly.
Nice to have
  • Experience with Roblox monetisation, data stores, or cross-platform input.
  • A jam history, a portfolio of small weird projects, or both.

3D Environment Artist (Blender)

Art Full-time / Contract Erbil, Iraq · Remote friendly

Build the spaces our games happen in — from Mesopotamian tunnels to a kitchen counter seen from the height of a screw.

What you'll do
  • Model, texture, light, and dress environments in Blender.
  • Optimise assets for real-time performance on mobile and console.
  • Produce render-quality stills for marketing and the studio portfolio.
  • Keep a consistent visual language across a title.
What we need
  • A portfolio of finished environments, not just isolated props.
  • Strong grasp of lighting, composition, and material work.
  • Comfortable working to a poly and texture budget.
Nice to have
  • Roblox Studio import pipeline experience.
  • Substance Painter / Designer, or hand-painted texture work.

Game Designer

Design Full-time Erbil, Iraq · Hybrid

Turn a one-line idea — "you are a screw trying to get home" — into a loop people replay for hours.

What you'll do
  • Own core loops, progression curves, and economy tuning.
  • Write short, testable design docs and iterate on playtest data.
  • Run playtests and translate what you watched into concrete changes.
What we need
  • You have designed and shipped something, even something small.
  • You can argue for a cut as confidently as for a feature.
  • Comfortable reading retention and session-length data.
Nice to have
  • Experience designing for a UGC platform audience.
  • Narrative or puzzle design background.

Community & Social Manager

Community Part-time Remote

Be the voice of the studio across our Roblox community, YouTube, and socials — and bring what players say back to the team.

What you'll do
  • Run day-to-day communication across the Roblox group and socials.
  • Collect, summarise, and route player feedback to design and engineering.
  • Plan update posts, trailers, and community events around releases.
What we need
  • Fluent English writing; Arabic or Kurdish is a real advantage.
  • You actually play the kinds of games we make.
  • Calm and consistent when a launch goes sideways.
Nice to have
  • Short-form video editing.
  • Previous experience moderating a large community.
